R2 non-powered frunk is a mistake?

still not sold, frunk lid in pic is below roofline and in every other pic it is way over roof line. if there is a way to limit the height, that may work. still will take powered frunk and oh shit bars over shitty push button exit doors in the rear if the rational was cost cutting, but I don't get to make those calls, just where I spend my money...

I wonder if it's possible to install a pull-strap fixed to the inner frunk lid; may help folks in wheelchairs get the hood to a manageable closing height.

I have owned five EVs with front trunks. I use(d) them all often. My R1T is the only one with powered open/close. All the others had gas strut open (some requiring a "hood popper" like an ICE car, some just pop electronically then lift.)

Is the powered close nice? Of course it is. Is it a deal breaker? No. The only downside I can see is that R2 is a fairly tall vehicle, so people with reach issues may have problems. But even a wheelchair-user was able to close it fine (see JerryRigEverything's video, where his wife was able to close it by starting at the side of the vehicle at the base of the windshield.) And it has soft close, so you don't need to slam it or press on the center like with all of my other manual-close EV frunks.

I have no dog in the fight - I'm not getting an R2.

How is it "cope" to not expect a feature that no other vehicle the price point has?
