R2 Refresh Batteries Software Locked?

Apologize if this has been asked/answered before but...

Does anyone know if any of the new R2 (oops!) R1 Refreshed Batteries are actually identical but software limited (locked)?

Specifically "Standard" vs "Large". It's strikes me as a distinct possibility from a simplifying manufacturing perspective. And personally, it makes sense for me to buy a Standard knowing that I could, if desired, unlock a little more range down the road.

Standard battery is an LFP chemistry with around 97 kWh usable capacity, as stated in the OoS video. Large and Max are NMC chemistries and very different packs to Standard. What we don't know is if Large is a software limited Max pack now.

Although it's going on currently with the R1 to get them priced lower and out the door, I doubt Rivian will do that on the r2. In order to keep the margins tight they can't put a more expensive battery in.

Battery cells and payload are the same on large and max packs according to Rivian. Standard LFP has more payload.

The refresh is on the R1 Rivians. The R2 is a completely new vehicle due out in 2026.

My bad. I meant the R1 refresh packs. Looks like base pack is the only LFP. So no possibility there. But... the Large and Max may be the same same unit with the Large being software limited/locked.
