Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix rear radar blocked sensor error?

I tried a soft reset and can’t seem to find the radar sensors.

R1S manual page 13 shows where the sensors are. Behind the bumper??

Any tips appreciated. Have to drive in a lot of traffic and would like radar to work….

Also I recently updated to 2024.11.02, could this be the issue? It’s also been foggy and I had a car wash yesterday

They would be the little circles you see in the bumper - check to make sure that they don't have too much grim or residue on them, even with just having been in a car wash.
Otherwise give a full truck reboot a shot

Those are ultrasonic sensors. Radar sensors aren't obvious because they just see through the bumper.

Can you take a picture of the rear of your truck?

Sorry, ignore me on that one, was responding too quickly and got all my sensors mixed up.
I'm glad you're not too sensortive about the corrections.

I had the same issue after washing my R1S. I cleaned the sensors to remove any residue from them and waited awhile. The message eventually went away.

Lol, I was towing a trailer and it kept telling me this. Yep, I know there's something back there, and you're supposed to be disabled during towing anyway haha.
