While I was driving the truck in conserve mode which uses just the front two motors and the rear mechanically disengage, I was using the regen braking and it felt pretty much the same as the other modes. Which made me thing if only the front two motors (or maybe just 1?) do the actual regen braking rather than all motors. The rear motors may or may not be engaged unless they engage during regen braking only? I don't know but I was interested in how that works.
Anyone have any inside knowledge know which motors are used for regen braking, even with conserve mode? Would the two motor version of the truck be different? Just curious...
