Nope they were plug and play for me but I guess it would depend on what someone wanted to attach. The bolt for the seat and then we used 2 wood screws to attach to the bottom of my platform.

Where are you located?

Before you ask @LivingInKaos to make you some more I do have 1 extra bracket, you could try it out and see if it will meet your needs before having more made.
