Not the screws/fastener that's PIA. It's the way how the top tabs snaps in and out. The tabs do not align easily and there is too much tension for easy removal.

What OP wants, I believe, is to replace the current cover with something that can fit into the 2" receiver that looks like the current cover without having to yank the cover off and have to hit it to snap it back in (as shown in an earlier post link for Model Y)

I often mount our bike rack on and off, and it is a pain. If there was a simple replacement, that keeps the hitch receiver covered like the original, I would buy one in a heart beat to replace what's there now.

The problem with that is manufacturing tolerances. Position of the receiver in relation to cutout in the bumper trim may not be identical from car to car. If the cover was mounted to the receiver, its edges may not align with the trim. Just remove the cover and leave it off. Free and problem solved.
