Is there a way to just restart the infotainment system? My cell connection for the vehicle and Wi-Fi went out yesterday. I thought it would just come back and then again today it was still out and I couldn’t figure out how to kind of airplane mode it like a phone and then back on again. So I ended up just going to settings and restarting the vehicle and after the restart everything came back on, but I was just wondering if there’s an easier way.

Press and hole the leftmost and rightmost steering wheel buttons until the display(s) tell you to release them.

My Gen 2 R1S has failed to connect to my home wifi the past two days. Trying to manually reconnect it fails. Only thing that fixes it is an infotainment restart. I put a ticket in this morning.

I believe what you have been advised to do is called a software reset. A tech doing a mobile visit advised that you do software resets when you infotainment system/screen is acting oddly.
