If you link a Chargepoint account, it does show status/availability of Chargpoint chargers. I have to assume that they will do the same with EA in the future.

Also, if you are charging anything on a Chargepoint charger it shows the session in the app. Currently charging my Volt, and I can see these screens. At least gives us an idea of what we will see. (This is a free charger at my office, so cost is blank.)

I can see all sorts of chargers on the new map UX. Hopefully they will expand that UX to allow you to do trip planning and send the trip to your vehicle.
I'd be especially happy if I could send routes and locations from Google Maps to the app and have that route up on my screen when I get in the truck...

Yep... My Tesla supports sharing points from Google Maps (or Apple Maps) to a car and I use that functionality pretty frequently. Neither of those apps lets you share more than just locations as far as I can tell so you can't do complicated route planning and share it. A Better Route Planner doesn't let you share routes to Tesla either but I'm not sure if that is a ABRP implementation issue, a Tesla one, or something else.

The other surprising thing I've noticed about the Rivian app is that it doesn't ask for background refresh permissions or Bluetooth permission on my phone. I'm kind of assuming that happens when you pair a car or else I'm not sure how the app as a key or getting updated vehicle status would work reliably. Hopefully, over time, they will add a car widget as well. I use that very frequently for my Tesla.

I'm hoping this is still true. I still want the winch and rock sliders that were seen on a prototype last year.
