On a serious note, someone is actually designing most of those requests, and at a cheaper price than Rivian has advertised: https://rivian-aftermarket.proboards.com/.
I'm pretty stupid excited for the stuff he's coming up with over there. I'm in for the frunk water-tank already, and on the list for the gear shuttle. He just does things linearly, so until one is in production, he's not working on the others... It's fine for me though, otherwise I'd be broke when all of these things were available to buy!

Just figured I would give ya'll a break from the constant bitching about self induced or relatively trivial problems.

My truck is rad, I actually use it offroad, when I break shit I cuss and move on.

Otherwise, I want to share that I am working with a industry partner to make an aftermarket camp kitchen.
And bed rack.
And Roof Rack.
s00n.

K, bye.
I don’t know if it’s mentioned yet , can we get a mini camp kitchen for the R1S , thx!

Wow, finally a thread where someone isn't complaining about the lack of a name brand stereo, or having to wait for their order, or their tires wearing out too fast, or that Tesla does "XYZ" better.

Y'all complain way too much. I have owned countless exotics and luxury vehicles and the Rivian has been outstanding over the last year with 23k miles on the odometer. It's gotten SO MUCH BETTER with all the updates.

What more can this company offer you? Other than rebounding their stock prices (lost my ass here lol).

Just enjoy the truck, nothing on the market is this good, nothing.

Drive a Tesla X Plaid and come back and tell me the Rivian isn't better built or more solid.

If you can afford a $90k truck/SUV and you are complaining about not getting 50k miles out of your tires, you should reconsider your life's priorities. Two months of fuel savings compared to a gas powered equivalent will buy you a full set of Pirellis.

Stop whining people!

With summer nearly upon us, I'm really hoping there is a legitimate solution to the tonneau cover soon. Mine is disabled open. It's been the better part of a year not having an option I paid for, and with all of the hiking and beach gear I had plan to stow safely and securely in the bed, my adventure vehicle will be less adventurous without it. I don't need a solution now - I just want to know the plan. At delivery, it the solution was "a few weeks away" which turned into a few months, and now is just a big unknown. I love my truck (more than expected) and want Rivian to succeed, but they are trying my patience on this one, especially when a solution has been identified.

On the tire wear issue, I have been driving heavy (8,000# +) pickup trucks for many years. My experience with routine tire wear is between 35 and 40,000 miles. If you want 60,000 miles on a set of tires, buy a Toyota Corolla.
