Rivian R1S Extended Rendering

This would be a very useful variation if Rivian can build them cost effectively. The Airport Limousine crowd would love them.

With 6 in our family, I’d welcome this. But, only if they didn’t increase the legroom of the current R1S in various rows by too much, rather just gave us some more cargo room behind the 3rd row.

I’d also welcome the current size R1S with a captain’s chair option.

Nice but worthless mental gymnastics at best. Rivian has to figure out how to make money first. You can’t be like Silverado EV, putting in 200 kWh battery while hemorrhaging money. They are in survival mode with R2, trying to stay afloat. R2’s bigger battery size and its rich feature contents at $45k may drive Rivian to Financial insolvency.
They do not have the engineering and manufacturing efficiency of Tesla who is also having a challenging year.
