Maybe. The R1T is already Tacoma sized, just a few inches shorter. So an R2T would be like the size of the Maverick. Not sure Rivian wants to get in that market. I can see them coming out with an R2S only. That's where the money is in the US.

Very true. If they do have a lower priced SUV (R2S), the wife and I might consider trading in the RAV4 Prime....buuuuuuut, we really like the face that we have an ICE car for the ability to use gas if things go sideways in this country.

Understood. Things have already gone sideways . Plus I'd rather trust my solar panels and EV vs. the madness of gas stations if things go very sideways.

I actually like that. The short rear overhang gives off Land Rover vibes. It just needs a rear-mount spare tire.
