Rivian has indicated the power tonneau would be available in the future buy and retrofit for existing R1Ts. id assume that means new vehicles would also have the option at some point as well. but tbh, they are so far behind in getting existing vehicles with broken PTCs fixed that i can't see it happening anytime soon for us who want to get the PTC retrofitted or added to a new vehicle. based on track record, id be surprised if they finish fixing all the broken PTCs this year.

I bet you will see it back in the configurator after they work through most of the repairs they have to do for those who have been waiting.

I have the Rivian manual tonneau and it has been great so far, although I don't need to take mine off and on a bunch in winter and the weak point of it is the latch release design. The bag it comes with is high quality. I also paid the early price for mine ($800) so it feels like a good deal to me. I don't think I would pay the current price for it.

Go to a credit union. With that FICO you should be below 6% even with a longer term if you want it.

As others have said the power tonneau has had issues and now that they have a fixed version they have to work through replacing all of the defective ones. After that and depending on whether or not the new one has problems, we will probably see it come back to the configurator as an option.
