I'm not really interested in much he has to say, but I'll watch a tear down to learn about the truck if he does it because nobody else will.

He may have been a legitimate business at one point, but he has fallen completely in love with everything Elon Musk and is hoping Elon's fanboys will boost his YouTube channel to profitability.

Sandy jumped the shark when he bought Tesla stock and sold it for a huge profit. Don't think he can be objective after the company paid for his retirement.

Hopefully th
This will be the first time I've ever watched him tear down I vehicle I have ordered myself. It actually does make me nervous!

Hopefully there aren't too many cancelations as a result...

I have to admit, I do not normally watch his videos but did watch the Rivian related ones. I am curious about his tear down.

He clearly likes his and seemed to be pretty positive about the review when they put it on the lift. Will be interested to see if he stays positive as he starts peeling the onion.

Seems this guy is pretty polarizing.

Well if you like him know that I am super excited to see this teardown!

If you dont like him know that I think he's a Tesla hack and I'll never watch him again!

Wow good on them for paying 50k+ just to tear down for the views/lulz/information. I'm super excited to see the analysis.
Teardowns, reverse engineering, and competitive intelligence are their core business. Munro sells reports to the auto, military and other manufacturing industries for $100K+ each and those reports go all around the world.

Anyone saying he's a Tesla hack - you realize he liked the Rivian so much, he actually bought one, right?

Of course, now he's a Rivian hack, too! :p

(I don't personally like his style, and I don't think he's that amazing just from his videos, but I assume he and his team are extremely competent. My original sense from him was that he was mostly impressed seeing a company try different things than he was used to seeing.)

It's good so many people are interested in the teardown. I'm curious about new pre-orders. Rivian had such an odd combination of the price hike reversal about the time of many good reviews.

The vehicles are not overprice at the new prices IMO. They are just expensive.

Not nervous at all. Looking forward to more R1T "truck porn" while I wait for my late-2022/early-2023 delivery.

As a Mech E, I find his style a bit off putting... Maybe its just his personality or tone but I find him hard to watch when he makes statements that aren't accurate. His staff certainly did a much better job of professionalism, and conveyance of information on the suspension dive than anything Sandy did previously... Will I watch it sure, but it may be muted or with the CC running...

I don't know - he had a lot of complaints about Tesla and the M3 when they first came out, I wouldn't blame him for investing after they basically started incorporating a lot of the suggestions it probably does something for your sense of self worth if an entire company retools their model after you tear it apart.
