I live in L.A., so Tesla's are a dime a dozen in this area. I'm pretty sure I've seen one or two on the road, but now I can't remember if it was just a nightmare I was having while I slept. Dreams can be so vivid. In any case, I'm not wowed by it. Seen so many photos, videos that seeing it in person didn't do anything for me.

Sounds like it'll be a capable truck, but I don't need to stand out like a sore thumb to enjoy my vehicle. Haven't been a fan of it since it was released and it hasn't grown on me since. The Rivian serves all of my needs, thus no need for a Tesla. If I were to get one, would have to wrap it as that stainless steel finish would get old fast.

Random thought. Is there any other car that has wipers that wipe downwards first? Might not affect anything much, but from my idiots view of physics, if you wipe a wet windshield downwards first, the water is just going to go right back up the windshield ... or worse ice/snow. Normal cars wipe up which while driving pushes the initial push of water/snow up and off the windshield and then is carried off the top or the side of the windshield.

No car has a shelf right in front of its headlights either. Can’t wait to see the snow accumulate there and block the headlights completely haha

With as difficult as this stainless finish will be to keep clean, I would expect most to be seen in some kind of wrap...have any wrapped ones been seen in the wild? I would think that as hideous as it is in natural form, adding a color would have to help...

Opinions are always personal. I think it's cool and different. Now, may not be cool when there is a bunch of them in same parking lot.
The Count saw another R1S this month (once) and now may sell his R1S as it is too popular.

it will make a great billboard for a business to wrap a CT with its logo etc. Imagine the "look at that fugly thing! oh, but if I need a lawyer I know who to call"

I was driving down the 101 in Scottsdale AZ and I looked to my left and a CT with CA plates pulled up next to me, it was unmistakable, also a pretty gal in the passenger seat was smiling at me (or probably my R1T) and then said something to the driver and he floored it and took off. It was something you can't miss as it is a very uniquely different vehicle especially in person. When it was next to me it looked pretty close to the same size as my R1T but it was a very quick encounter. I would say anyone buying this vehicle will have to deal with the extreme attention it will draw especially the early buyers, not my cup of tea!
I had to get 5% tint on my R1S just for the same reason. Love how people admire it but sometimes the stares are creepy.
