About once a week, when I get into my Gen1 R1S, and tap the break the car fails to remember the seat position. It just says in the back position is shits to when I put it into park. My fix is to change the driver to my wife and then back to me (before I get crushed). I haven't reported this thinking it was just a bug that would get fixed in a regular update... but at this point it has been going on like this for maybe a year. Really a pain. ... anyone else experiencing this?

I've had it stop in the process of moving from easy entry/exit to the remembered position, but each time it was because I did "something". This has ranged from unpausing Spotify from the steering wheel, opening the garage door, touching a menu button on the screen, etc...

My resolution is usually to put it in park, unbelt, wait for moving to the exit position and then press the brake pedal again. I guess I could create a ticket and try to capture what I did when it was interrupted... But yes, it is annoying to me.

a few times but very few - as spork says - it's usually associated with more than one thing/command happening at a time and just letting it stabilize and then change driver or exit and re-enter clears it up

I think I've noticed this when I hit the brake and try to go immediately into gear instead of letting it do it's thing. My easy entry isnt too different from my normal seating though, i actually scoot it a little forward so the kids have more room

I get this occasionally, maybe every month or two. And a few times it seems like it is only the steering wheel that is off. Haven't figured out a trigger, but maybe it is because of hitting some other control before it is set as others have said.

Happens multiple time/week for me. Seems like some kind of wake up race condition. The annoying thing is it doesn’t even know it’s out of whack as the “Restore” button isn’t active. So I just jiggle one of the seat buttons until that cajoles the button into lighting up.

Less hoot owl sounds and Halloween costumes, more bug fixes and basic driving features (like cruise control resume). Just sayin’

I've brought this in and they did a seat recalibration (some buttons pushed on the service screen) but it still happens several times a week. I'm hopping for a bug fix, but still a fan of the costumes :)

Same here. Only really annoying bug that I deal with. I have to recalibrate the seat every few weeks.

It seems like the seat positions are relative instead of assigned addresses if that makes sense. If I make an adjustment and hit remember than all of my position settings get out of whack.

I really want to see this addressed!

For me it’s the roomy entry exit? That’s never worked consistently for me I’m 3 years into ownership, I’ve opened multiple cases, no fix, they’ve addressed it in updates and it doesn’t help. I turned the feature off for the last year and a half, turned it on after the last update, nope still not consistent

It happens with Gen 2 also.

Happens all the time on my gen 2. Most times the mirrors change but the seat and steering wheel do not. Have to toggle drivers to reset.

The SC can do some sort of seat calibration that is superior to what we can do on our own. I don't know if they would do this as an on the spot request, you should ask.

Yep, we have the same experience.

And use the same workaround you do--I'll switch to my wife's profile. Wait until it's done adjusting. Then switch back to my own, where it then adjusts appropriately.

Annoying, yes.

Show-stopping, no.

My neighbor reports that this was fixed on his with a SC seat calibration done during a 12v replacement.

Same problem with Gen2 - but its the steering wheel that isn't moving, so it ends up too far away.
