As far as I can see there is no “conserve mode” with this configuration, or am i missing something?

Gen2 dual-motor will auto conserve at highway speed and as soon as you enter stop and go as well as other algorithmic reasons will go between the two modes.

It's not needed with your configuration - it happens automatically. It's only the Tri and Quad configurations that have conserve mode.
This^ Its what I love about the dual motors. No need to change drive modes. With the duals it will disengage the rear motor automatically above 20 mph in all purpose mode. It will also reengage it automatically when traction or requested power requires it.

No control over when to shut off motors?
Does it automatically for you?
Hmm. Liking my R1S Quad more and more every day!

Yes and No, if you mash the go pedal in All-Purpose that will turn rear motor back on ? .

Seriously though In sport mode (only on dual performance) the rear motor will remain engaged and it should also stay engaged when a trailer is hooked up. I think snow mode will also keep it on.

Quad has more power but dual is really close to Gen 1 quad and even gen2 tri 0-60 They are 3.0/3.2, 2.9, and 3.5 respectively. Very very quick. I like dual performance for efficiency, simplicity (only two motors), and cost reasons.

Oh, man. 3,5 instead of 3.0! That's an eternity delta in EV speak ?.
In all seriousness, I am sure your dual is just as great. Heck, my Teslas too are duals. Awesome to drive just the same.
I may never find out what snow and the other modes other than All Purpose are like. Mine is permanently set on AP and standard height.
