Sirius Performance Worse After 2025.46

Sirius was working well until after the 2025.46 update. This update was supposed to fix a problem with Sirius XM that I have never noticed. Actually, it seems to have made things worse..After the update, the audio eventually drops out for the remainder of the trip. It resumes if you put the vehicle to sleep and wake it again. The album, cover art, and track title continue to update for a while. I consider this a serious issue, because Sirius requires a paid subscription. I dislike paying for nothing.

It got into a mode where it stopped after each selection. Pushing start would play the next track then stop. It seems to be fixed. I don't know what I did.

My Sirius already cuts out periodically but not frequently. Restarts next drive every time.
No 2025.46 update yet.

Weird. That description actually fits what has been happening with my Apple Music app off and on for months now. It will work fine while I’m driving around during the day, then I will park it in my garage overnight and the behavior often starts after that long sleep cycle. It will start playing the same track that was on when I parked, but it will stop somewhere between 15-20 seconds. I can restart that song and it will stop again at the same point. I can skip to the next song and same thing… a software reset is the only thing so far I have found that fixes it, but it eventually comes back

My main issue with the app is the inability to use channel number. If you have a channel number, you have to search for it, then select it. Unless I am missing something...

Try signing out of your Sirius account and back in first, before trying soft reset. Same for Apple Music if you’re having issues with it.

In my 2020 Porsche SiriusXM always comes on instantly without exception. I've had continual problems with my Gen2.

Yesterday on two 30 minute rides it wouldn't work at all. Was stuck on the 'For You' screen with some message that it couldn't make recommendations, or something. Other times it takes minutes before music starts.

Kind of feels like amateur hour that Rivian can't figure this out.

So your 2020 Porsche has streaming SiriusXM (over 4G) like the Rivian, instead of satellite SiriusXM?

Mine fails frequently with Slow Internet or Unable to Authenticate messages. During these times my FM radio can turn itself off or switch stations on its own. I also loose wheel Torque displays on the gauges page.

A soft reset fixes it for a while, then these issues return. Even happened prior to the 46 update.
