Agree with the others that LoJack is a massive red flag on a vehicle that can be bricked by the home office with a phone call. There is no need for an aftermarket system that, poorly, duplicates a standard feature.

Been a week since I opened mine, but I think this is normal behavior? Upon pressing the button, it unlataches to pop the hatch ajar, just enough for you to get enough purchase with your fingertips. It's not suppose to open all the way unassisted.

And when you shut it, place your palm on the hatch directly opposite side of the latch and push it until you hear/feel the latch click (just make sure your fingers are out of the way). If you use your fingertips to shove or slam it shut, you risk denting the hatch.

Also, it's normal for the gear tunnel doors to not open all the way. You push the button and pull them open, otherwise they re-lock. Suppose it's to keep someone standing next to the truck from getting banged in the leg, or something.

Panel gaps are "normal". Trash is not. The wife and I are pretty obsessively clean, but it disgusts me how many cars in our area are driving around with trash from 7-Eleven up to the windows (I wish that was a joke). ? I always assume if someone couldn't even bother to vacuum out the inside, what other things on the vehicle have they trashed?

Crazy story. As for the gear tunnel doors, they only pop out 1/4" and you suppose to pull them down manually. Also for everyone, when closing don't slam them shut, push firmly to close, if you slam them it will eventually distort the door jam.

Wonder how much they are asking for the truck.. probably best just to order a new truck from rivian. You can get it very fast now and won’t have to deal with stealers shady practices.

Lowjack or similar GPS tracking device is common with used car dealers. They market it to potential buyers like it's a benefit. But, it's really for tracking and repo'ing cars when people become tardy on their payments... if financed through dealer.

I am disappointed that they didn't promise to make up for their sliminess by offering you lifetime of oil changes.
