Spotify craziness?

anyone had Spotify act a fool on your various playlists?
For instance- you click one song and something completely different comes up?
This especially happens when I try and play my daylist or other Spotify generated lists..

If I try and control it from my phone..... things quickly get confused.

my wife adds her account... it wont even play her "liked songs"

feature state.... Would be amazing if the spotify accounts would toggle/change with the driver who is logged in

I’ve had lots of weirdness with Apple, but haven’t had any of the issues you describe with Spotify - it’s been pretty stable. Have you tried a soft reset and/or logging out and starting over?

Spotify (at least the free version) only plays one stream per person across all devices. If you are logged and trying to play on multiple devices they will fight each other for control of what's playing.

just switching back and forth between my account and my wives account- both paid.. will try this again and double check.

Not sure how I could have overlooked unplug it and plug it back in method haha- will report back.

Spotify (at least the free version) only plays one stream per person across all devices. If you are logged and trying to play on multiple devices they will fight each other for control of what's playing.

spotify is usually awesome across all devices... pixel, MacBook etc when using the spotify cast function, its usually pretty seamless switching between songs on various devices while outputting on 1 system. seems I might just be dealing with an isolated issue. thanks man

I have had this exact thing happen to me a few times and it can be incredibly frustrating when it happens. There is no solution I've noticed but time. Typically by the next time I get in the truck and go it's resolved itself. It's like a syncing issue of some sort.

I have had this same issue from time to time on Spotify. I’m a paid family user as well. Spotify on the Rivian has been ok. Wish it was more stable and faster in general and yes be able to toggle between drivers.
