Spotify Issues?

Anyone else having major spotify issues? It will only play a podcast for a few minutes, then it stops and it's like it can't load anymore. After that happens, it won't play any songs either. It's like it's freezing the app. If I force close the app on my phone, I can then play spotify through bluetooth, but as soon as I go to the spotify page on my R1S the glitch happens again.

I had issues with Spotify earlier this morning, would not play next song unless I forwarded to next one manually.

I am having similar issues, Spotify worked well before today. Now it won't work on some of my music and others it will. Sometimes it works for 10 seconds and then quits. Very frustrating. Hopefully there is a quick answer to this. I don't believe I changed any settings. Keep us all posted if there is a solution. Thanks all

Same here. I've submitted service request already. Customer service said they were not notified of any outages yet, but knows there are more cases pertaining to Spotify not playing correctly.

What is weird is that same songs play fine at one time, and does not even start the other times. Since Spotify plays on other remote devices fine, I don't think it's Spotify issue.

Hopefully it is just a software glitch.

Have you tried an infotainment reboot? I use Tune-in more than Spotify but Spotify seems to be working normally for me.

same experience this afternoon... infotainment reboot did NOT solve the problem. Relieved to hear it is a widespread problem and not particular to my truck.

I have been having Spotify issues this afternoon as well. Songs/albums/playlists will play a few songs, then stop. If I pick a new album/song/playlist, that new one will start, but I cannot play the previous selection. I tried switching to Tidal, and that seems to work, at least for as well as the Tidal app works.

Same problem. From the Spotify app on my phone I did get a pop up saying something like “we’ve updated”, but halfway through my commute both ways it stopped playing.

Just heard from Rivian service, they said Spotify told them it was a spotify/rivian interface issue and it has been resolved. Haven't tested it yet, but that was fast.

Mine plays music just fine. But I'm not getting my waze alerts thru Bluetooth like the Tesla used to. It looks like when the car sees I'm on spotify thru my phone it l switches over to the car Spotify app so the waze alerts come thru the phone. Any ideas?
