23.50.1 it's around 17 in the morning and 40s in the day, temp doesn't seem to impact it.could just be your brakes blending with the regen. what software version are you on and whats the temperature and weather outside?
Do you mean so I can test something?Turn off regen assist.
Temp definitely matters. If the battery/motors are cold the regen is more limited and the system will blend in the brakes. That’s the specific change they made in the update 23.50.1. Since EVs don’t use their brakes often they tend to get buildup on them which can cause noise. That may be the noise you’re hearing.23.50.1 it's around 17 in the morning and 40s in the day, temp doesn't seem to impact it.
If you're on the latest software version (2023.50.1) there is a new feature called "Regenerative braking assist" which will blend the regular friction brakes with regen when full regen isn't available, like Tesla added a couple years back. If you have that, try turning it off and see if the sound persists.Do you mean so I can test something?
That was it, the light break pressure it applies was causing a squeak. If I manually apply break, no squeak.
