Squeaky noise in 3rd row

HI all,

Would like some inputs to avoid bring the vehicle in for service if possible. This noise has been going on for couple months now and progressively got louder. Most noticeable at low speed around 30 mph. I sat back there but can't pin point the location except it seems like coming from the top.

Is the noise present with the seats folded flat?

Welcome to going around in circles to catch that one d@mn squeak!

Video link is broken. Check the upper removable panel for the rear wiper control arm assembly on the back hatch. If a clip is loose, it can cause that. Also you can try putting a little pressure on your panels to see if the squeezing stops. Don’t push on the glass though unless you want a perma-vent! If it’s getting worse, likely cause is a panel clip that’s wiggled its way out. Pressure on that area might even fix it for a time, but it will come back until it’s fixed. Happy hunting!?

thanks. someone on facebook rivian group had the same problem. this is what he said

It turned out that the liftgate was sitting too low and the passenger side was rubbing and rattling against the lower passenger rear quarter panel above the taillight. There was actually paint chipped and rubbing across the lower tailgate that verified that it was rubbing and sitting too low.

I need to get it to service center to do it.

Do you have the cargo area cover? I've discovered that it rattles around quite a bit when it's not extended and makes a similar noise to what you're hearing.

We have the LinerX for the 3rd row and cargo area for awhile now and never heard this noise til recently. Definitely not from that.
