Squeaky Seats?

Hi, just wondering if anyone else is suffering from squeaky seats from the shoulder area, the vinyl. As my torso rides the bumps in everyday driving the the seat squeaks constantly. Seems to be coming from shoulder area in that curved area on the back rest. I have R1T Ocean Coast interior. Trying to think of ways to fix it??

Open a service ticket, it's a known issue. The mobile tech was able to massage the foam in further and the squeak disappeared for me. That was about 6 months ago and has been (mostly) silent ever since. At the time of the mobile I had a SC appointment scheduled too so they said if the mobile didn't fix it long term they would swap out the whole seat. Thankfully didn't need that.

Mine had it - appeared out of nowhere on a road trip a few months ago. Filed a ticket, brought it in, and they ended up just replacing the entire seat assembly under warranty.

I had that issue. It's one of the few issues the service center actually seems to have fixed on the first attempt. The tech said he removed the trim from the center of the seat, filed it a little, then applied some padded tape and reassembled.

I had the same problem. The squeak was coming from where the vinyl meets the trim piece. The tech lubricated the vinyl, and the squeaks disappeared. He recommended using leather conditioner if it ever came back.

It was in the back rest by the shoulders, where the vinyl goes into the "RIVIAN" trim piece. Every little movement caused it to squeak, and since it was so close to my ears it was distracting.
But, a little bit of lubrication took care of it, and haven't come back.

YES!! that is EXACTLY what I have. How do you suggest lubricating it?

Hi all,
I had the same issue by the Rivian logo at the shoulder area start after the first 1000miles. The SC couldn’t fix it so they replaced the entire seat. Unfortunately same issue has starting squeaking again so back she goes!

So, what you're saying is, not only do we need a lube party for the tonneau cover, but now the seat backs too?
