Standard Dual Motor does not get new Gauge View

TLDR to the 20 pages:
It‘s a bug, or maybe a change of heart by Rivian, but standard dual motor will get the instrumentation display.

The majority agree that moving forward, like it or not, virtual displays will probably define a trim level and additional cost.

In other news, the Phillies will win the NL Championship in six games.

With all the complaints and outrage, I wonder what dollar amount people would pay for the new screen, if Rivian charged for it. Its only a matter of time before they do, and either as a subscription or one time only payment. This internet outrage may just push Rivian to implement the payment option, ok, if you want it, pay for it. Would people pay $10 for that screen, one time only? What about $100?

Personally, it’s nice for nerd value. Would I pay a subscription for it - no. I don’t care how little it costs. Kinda over the subscription model now, and for something that has zero actual benefit to my day, nah. $100 one time, maybe. More than that, nope.

I'm still upset Rivian isn't giving me 400 mile range with my launch edition when that's what I expected to receive when I intially reserved it.

You need 2023.38, so make sure you have that first.

If you have anything other than Standard Dual Motor, go to the Drive Mode screen. From there, put your finger on the photo of your vehicle, and swipe left towards the Drive Modes pane.

If you do have a Standard Dual Motor, you have to wait until the 2023.38.1 hotfix for it to be available.
