He’s trying to feel superior, you can put all the evidence in the work

Sure, there is a difference of 2 motors. But that doesn’t mean that one group of owners should be treated differently than another. His arguments up to this point have basically been that the quad is a more premium truck and that the dual should have to pay for “premium updates”. They're trimmed out the exact same way, less 2 motors. The cost difference is for motors and associated power/ capability. Not support.
Yet again .. can't be "trimmed out the exact same way" and have two less motors. That's point one. Point two, there is a reason there is a PERFORMANCE DM and a regular DM. Unless you are saying those are the exact same vehicle too.

Your argument is that a Diesel F250 should get an engine temp gage but a gas powered F250 should not because the engine is powered differently? I sure have to say that I cannot understand that position.
I hate to break it to you but that's a thing. On my SQ5 I get a gauge face exclusive to the S.

So your LR Y has the track mode that the Performance 3 does? Better tell Tesla because it's not supposed to (also LR AWD M3 with the EXACT hardware as a performance .... just software limited also does not have it.). Track mode is basically identical to what we have here
Nope.

I recommend you check again... there is hardware difference... lol... I can assure you.

Yes, there is a difference. You pay $5000 extra for more horsepower. That’s it

Welp. Thankfully, Rivian does not feel the way you seem to, and is correcting the problem.

So you’re proving everything I’ve said. The only difference in updates should be hardware limited (like the additional drive modes for quad) not one, in your words, being more premium than the other.

Here it is, folks. Right from the source. I asked Rivian PR for comment and this is their response as if Wassym’s remark on Reddit wasn’t sufficient.

Rivian R1T R1S Standard Dual Motor does not get new Gauge View IMG_7603

TL;DR, all Dual Motor vehicles will be getting the gauge screen.

Check with Tesla. Not going to argue with you anymore.

"Track Mode, available only on Performance Model 3 vehicles,"

As an owner of a LR AWD M3 I can assure you, that you are wrong lol.
As desperate as you are to prove people "wrong" (your words), our M3 performance has substantially larger brakes, so is deemed "trackable" by Tesla... hardware difference.

For this reason, track mode is not placed on the LR vehicle. For hardware reasons. These are special modes/tools for specially equipped vehicles... back to the conversation at hand, nothing as basic as being able to see the battery temp.

RIvian has now come out and settled this issue. There is no argument left to make, I would think?
