Stealth PPF upgrade at no extra cost offer

I've been debating on the color I wanted to order for my R1T from the Rivian shop this whole week. Today when I was playing around with the filters, I noticed the pricing on the vehicles that had the stealth ppf options were the same price as the non ppf vehicles. On the summary order page it shows the following:

*XPEL STEALTH™ paint protection offer: Qualifying vehicle purchases will receive a STEALTH™ paint protection film upgrade at no extra cost. Offer only available for vehicles as indicated in vehicle descriptions. Qualifying vehicles must be purchased or leased from June 20, 2024–August 31, 2024.

Woohoo, just pulled the trigger on a El Cap R1T with Stealth PPF option. So excited!

It's an excellent value for anyone that's looking for that Stealth look. An experienced shop will charge at least $7,000 for a stealth wrap.

It's actually brilliant for Rivian to offer this too. Best of all it looks awesome! I especially love the Stealth PPF on darker colors like midnight, El Cap, and forest green.

yeah, the stealth wrap is TOTALLY worth it, even if it's not free! Zero regret about ours, literally looks as good as the day we took delivery, and no worries taking it through car washes.

I'm working on the purchase agreement for a truck that shows Stealth PPF on the summary page included for free, just curious if anyone has signed documents for them - is the stealth ppf option supposed to show on the contract page too? The VIN is the same and all the other options appear but the PPF doesn't. Just wanting to make sure before I sign.

Can someone who had the Stealth PPF offer done comment on the quality of the install ? Unfortunately, 90% of the installers out there shouldn't be in this business doing a mess of their customers' cars.

Xpel did our install, and it's exceptional. Literally no issues (lifting, blemishes etc) 2 years later.

How much does it cost Rivian to offer this?

I'm curious how much they have to pay for the stealth PPF material. The labor cost is a different story.

I'm sure they get a great deal, but based on normal (Stealth) wholesale prices from Xpel, I'd guestimate they're using ~$600-800 of material for an R1T, maybe ~$800-1000 for an R1S. All the sections are pre-cut and optimized for easy install, so I would think a good installer (plus helper for parts of it) could get it done in a day.

Message from someone on Reddit Rivian forum is that you can add Stealth to any vehicle through August 31st although its not publicized.

Not a bad price at all. I wonder if Rivian is paying an outside installer or doing it in house. Maybe they have their own dedicated team for it now that it is becoming more material to the business.

Grabbed an R1S from the shop this morning (Dual Max). Stealth was not on the vehicle. Guide already assigned from my local service center and gave me a delivery date of July 27th. Been texting with them and they are stating they cant add it. I am trying to escalate it as I am in no rush to get the vehicle delivered.

Does anyone know if the advertising lease price includes destination fee? I grabbed one of the R1T and going through the financial application. I noticed that the lease price jumped up and the vehicle price is actually $1,800 higher than what was listed. I assumed that the advertising lease price does not include that $1800 destination fee.
