Steps almost done....and a factory pickup to boot.

So this went fast,

I was expecting delivery per email NOV/DEC of 2022 for my LA Silver R1T. July 1, new fiscal year for Illinois and the EV rebate going into effect, I looked at my email and low and behold at 2 in morning I got an email saying your R1T is ready for production. I was shocked. I went into my account and sure enough, had a guide (Martin) and the steps to confirm config. I had my call with Martin scheduled for July 5th to confirm config and go thru the process by phone. I went from no VIN to VIN to "hey its done...when you want to pick it up" all by Thursday. Friday got a text from Andrea to finish delivery prep. Finished 8th step today....now just waiting to set a date to pick up at Normal and take a brief tour of factory with the better half.

Now...just waiting for charger and the electrician to finish our electric upgrade. The electrician and I thought we had till November so he is moving as fast as he can. Guess I get Christmas in July instead of waiting....now just the stress of 110v until he gets here but I'll survive and can't wait. It is fun to explain to my bank and insurance in the rural area of Illinois what the heck a Rivian is.

Congrats - That's exciting. I think most of the timelines will shrink going forward if the buyer is in a city with a service center.

Yes, this a picture of my little (well...not so little actually) Bassett Hound, Cabo. We also have a German Shepard named Max. They stand out in the crowd as the odd couple but definaltley a bonded pair. Both are looking forward to car rides in the Rivian.
