Curious…I’m at 14,800. Your post reminded me I need to schedule my 15k service. Did you go through the “AI” app to schedule yours? I tried and it’s asking me to specify things like PTC, or alignment, etc.I've got an appointment at Sterling for my 22.5k service on Oct 9. Just remembered to schedule it when I saw the notification in Rivian newsletter that it is open now. Always had good experiences at Gaithersburg, hopefully Sterling will be the same!

I drive past that all the time. The used vehicle sales manager is a big fan of EV's and owns several. He's a member of this forum and has responded to questions here before. I believe you can find him with forum search tools.
I just completed a “soft opening” appointment there a week or so ago where they did half shaft replacements and my R1S was the first alignment on their machine so they should be able to do all the normal work.
And the Tyson's showroom opening soon (with associated RAN chargers). Nice to see DC area finally getting some love. Last time I was in Annapolis I saw tons of Rivians there, as well. I wonder where they go? Glen Burnie, I guess?

So glad to hear they’re starting off with all positives!!Just a quick update - got my 22.5k done at Sterling last week. Nice location, easy to get to from my house, good waiting room with plenty of power outlets and some merch for sale, nature books to flip through, fresh coffee, dozens of chargers out front (it's a brand-new building, not taken over from some other shop), etc. WiFi connected automatically on my laptop since I've used it at Gaithersburg in the past. Inspection done while I waited, staff is very friendly, zero issues, no complaints - all kudos.
Glad to have an option easier to get to than Gaithersburg. They even ran my truck through their carwash when they were done.
I bought my R1T from them at Lindsay VW. They told me that their used car manager basically bought like 60-80 used Rivian at auction, and they've been pushing them the past few months. I had an ok experience overall, some were brand new and some in rough shape; I appreciated being able to look at multiple vehicles in one location to pick what I wanted. All the servicing is still done at Rivian, so I don't think there was anything to do with the VW partnership
