Even if it applies to five individual SC sessions, that would be 1000 mile days so not much of a limitation unless you are doing a Cannonball Run Challenge.
An original BMW i3, VW Golf EV, or similar low-range EV being used as ride share in an area with long high speed drives common (taking people to/from airport that is 20 miles out of the city center) could easily have a need for 5 recharges in a day.

But I would assume that would be a rare use case. I would imagine someone doing that would want a longer-range + faster-charging vehicle.

I'd think it makes more sense to limit this by kWh not by number of plug ins. But I have a big battery so probably better to not make that change.

If you do the micro charging method adding more stops but staying at lower SoC to keep your charging times to a minimum, it would be very easy to hit 5 - but then, with the TSC you only get max kw's for 7-8 minutes as opposed to getting it up to 47-50% at other stations.
7-8 minutes of Supercharging in my Model 3 usually gets me up to around 47%-50%. It happens so fast I generally am not ready to leave yet.

The battery in the Model 3 is much smaller than the R1T or R1S, so it should get you more SoC faster.

I was referring to personal use, without multiple charging failures which is my usual experience when on the road using DCFC charging.

Commercial use, towing, a string of bad luck with SC connections and other situations that I can’t even imagine are likely to run into the Tesla discount limit.
