- How do you think the interior will hold up against pets? How easy/hard do you think it will be to clean and get pet hair out of?

- What are your thoughts on the fancy floor mats that come with the adventure package?

- Do you find it hard to get stuff in and out of the frunk?

- What does the start-up sequence of the lights look like?

- Has Rivian said anything about vehicle to home charging?

- From watching your live stream it seems there are some improvements to be made with the charging curve. Is this something you could discuss with Rivian?

Thanks for all of the great content!

Can you pop off some of those rear plastic pucks on the front and sidewalls of the bed and let me know if there is a bolt under there? I’d like to attach some L track for more tie down hooks and install a front wheel chock for hauling a few dirt bikes.

thanks!

Can you park the Rivian between a ranger and an f150 so I can get a better reference of size. From what I’ve seen so far it is smaller than I expected. Much closer to the size of the mid-sized pickups.

Next to won't give the best comparison due to angles.

Find a good parking spot with a pole or something for scale. Then set up a tripod with the camera and take pictures with each vehicle in the same spot. You could then stitch the photos together for a "side by side" view.

When do you play it on getting one? And will Rivian let you test the R1S? Also, would you pick this over the Hummer? I know you said there was an embargo on that for your impressions until April, so maybe you can answer that later.

@OutofSpecKyle thanks for the awesome content. Hope you're enjoying Fort Collins (my hometown). Probably too late, but I have a large ranch north of Wellington/south of Cheyenne that might have some rutted dirt roads suitable for some rally mode tests. Maybe I will just have to cut a video if I get the R1T in the next couple months.

I know they are coming out with some race content against other EVs, but as a performance car enthusiast (and the reason I'm adding an R1S to the stable), I want to know how it performs on a 60-130mph (or the top speed if lower) run.

Marketing likes to use 0-60 numbers, but in the real world of performance vehicles it isn't a very valuable metric. You want to see what happens above 60mph. Or a 0-100-0 test.

How does it do against a Model 3 Performance or Refreshed Model S Long Range in a 0-60, then a 60-100 or 60-130.

I've asked this same question in the Tesla forums regarding a refreshed (2021/2022) Model S Long Range. Every video/review is about the Plaid, but nothing about the Long Range. Turns out the 60-130mph number blows away a Model 3/Y Performance even though the 0-60mph is almost the same. It is even a little faster than a Taycan Turbo S although 0-60mph is slower in the Telsa.

I'm still working my way through the hours of videos :whew: but I just want to know if after spending the past week with one would you buy it? If not, why?

Not well.

Even the Model 3 Standard Range smokes the Rivian on the 60-130 since the R1T's top speed is way less than 130.
Shucks. I forgot about the 110mph top speed. Wonder how the 60-110mph performance is then against other vehicles :p.

Wonder if it is faster (or slower) than my X5M which is just under 600hp. I think 0-60 is in the low 4 second range but it is also a heavy beast.

Only Ducktruck and a select few got to drive it at or near 130. Personally, I don't really care what it can do after about 80.
