So I guess my driving gets better when I take the R1S. ?

2 things I found odd about the report;

Pontiac is on the list, hasn’t been built since 2010 would be more interesting to see a breakdown based on vehicle age rather than make. would probably be a standard bell curve with newer and much older vehicles lower.

Also the mention of people using Autopilot for ways it was not designed could be a contributing factor to the poor rating but they also noted that study did not breakdown if it was a factor or not.

I am not certain about accidents, but I often find a Tesla (or Prius) a few MPH’s below the flow of traffic in the left lane - or the Tesla parked without charging in a charger location as if it were a privileged parking spot.

Hmmm..Pontiac?? Throws the whole report into question. Also, no mention of BMW drivers, but I guess they’re not reporting on obnoxious self centered drivers.

Yes...agree that the data used may be somewhat dated since they list both Mercury and Pontiac drivers. However, I found it interesting that they listed Pontiac drivers as one of the safest...BUT....they also had one of the HIGHEST rates of DUIs!!! I guess if you drive an old Pontiac Aztec, you're either a very safe driver OR you had to be drunk to get into the thing in the first place.

Well, no surprise. Tesla drivers were BMW drivers at one point. Also, we still have a few Pontiac fleet vehicles at work and I can assure you, they are driven by our worse drivers.

We traded a BMW for a Tesla. And then that for a Rivian. We all know what assholes Rivian drivers are...
