I'm CY but otherwise my config is the same but I'm in the Oct-Dec window probably due to my preorder date. Starting to seem like they should be able to make that window. Fingers crossed. I've been excited about but not particularly envious of the R1T deliveries so far. But now that R1S deliveries are starting, the envy is really starting to set in!

Whenever I get to take delivery I’d really like to take delivery in Normal. It’ll be my first EV and I figure what better way to get acquainted than a little trial by fire. Was it difficult to arrange for delivery there?

I'm in that same boat. This will be my first EV too. Trial by fire seems like the best way to go so I might as well do an 800 mile road trip. I simply asked my Guide if I could do a factory pickup. She changed the delivery address to their factory. Once my R1S passed inspection, it has been super easy. I was assigned a delivery specialist and told her which day and time worked best.

I didn't realize it was an option to change address to Normal. Were you already assigned a guide when you changed the address or did you change it yourself and then get assigned a guide and the process started moving? Just wondering if I were to change to pick up in Normal if it might speed things up if we haven't been assigned a guide yet. My Guide changed it. I was originally an April-May delivery.

I asked my guide if it would help to change it to Normal, and she pretty much said, "I have no idea, and if you did and then changed your mind, I don't know if we could swap it back."

Very nice. I was afraid they weren’t doing deliveries since they were probably 30 days from finishing. I drove by a week or two ago. They had 0 cars ready for delivery and only a couple of employee trucks.

Anyone here potentially interested in a Launch Edition Adventure Package R1T, Rivian Blue with Black Mountain, 20"AT, full size spare time, roof racks. I have done XPEL on the front/quarter panels/ mirrors, and ceramic coating. My R1S is coming and I don't need both vehicles. The R1T has 2,469 miles is in brand new condition, always garaged. No issues, has 2 key cards, bracelet, key fob.... I LOVE the truck, but we don't want both electric vehicles as we will keep 1 ICE truck that we already have. $125k, hit me up direct for any serious inquiries. I live in DFW, N. Dallas near the Galleria. Before I put it up for auction I wanted to offer here to my Texas friends first....if you are serious I can send pictures or meet you to show it.

There’s was a ton of dirt work going on on the other side. The trucks were just sitting in a muddy field at the moment if you can’t tell.

Looks like the Dallas SC is up and running? According to a facebook post, they were getting shipments in yesterday and aiming to do 150 deliveries per month from here on out. Reports of >30 R1Ts on the lot and a couple of R1S.

Great to hear! But I still sit here with an order from 7/2019 and no anticipated delivery.
