I'm currently at Costco (while on vacation )replacing my genI RIS 20"At tires at 23,013 with Defender LTX M/S2 275/65/S2 (Discount Tire only has the 60 and needed a week to order). Noticed more road noise and squeals on turning in parking lots with Pirellis about 1,000 miles ago. After driving almost 600 miles to the Upper Peninsula the noise became unbearable. My alignment seems OK but the right front tire has worn down to nearly bald on the outer 1/2. I don't think I've ever driven in conserve mode and probably only launched a couple times when first got the car new to check it out. This is 10K less miles than I was expecting to get. The only thing I can attribute it to is having my tires rotated on schedule by mobile service/ will definitely take to a tire store with road force balancing with this new set. +1 for Gen 1 Quad chewing up tires.

Clickbait sensationalism. "Rivian's destroy tires after 6,000 miles!"

The only people doing this are the ones doing burnouts all day long with the 835 horsepower.

Or who have really bad alignments from the factory. 😆
