sounds like a normal used car sale.

#2 complaint: fast charging spaces are too small... how is this unique to the Lightning? Perhaps he should practice parking it in tight places? I suppose the R1T and R1S owners should sell theirs too as this is a problem they face.

#3 "clunky" interface... that seems a bit non-specific. Seems he is more upset the Ford engineers didn't simple make the changes he specifically wanted.

I can believe the clunky interface comment though. I had an explorer ST that I traded in after only a few months because of its terrible interface. The tech was unusable with lag.

Article also describes the guy as a YouTuber. Didn't get the clicks he wanted, or the flip he wanted. He probably wanted to make a video about what a great financial decision it was and sell the truck for a profit after 6 months, probably ended up taking the loss value that he thought would be a profit. Because cars are investments

I just looked on Cars.com and there are in stock units priced at MSRP and lower. Guess it’s not that in demand anymore. I have a family member who has one and loves it, I’ve driven in it and I’ll get blasted but I think it has a better ride and is quieter than the R1T. Also, BlueCruse is Superior to Driver+ at the moment. Might not be that way forever.

I’ll never give up my R1T for one, though.

Between interest rates going up and more and more inventory available on lots, there is no reason to overpay for any car. But if this guy was dumb enough to think he could flip it like it was 2021 and people were paying over sticker for common cars, he deserves what he gets.

pretty weak reasons. every thing he complained about other than the tech are true for any other EV truck. 15min of my life ill never get back.

but Ford reaches out to him to join some test group? WTF, guess having a YT channel really can get you perks.
