My wife looked at me with "the look" when I put this on last night. Fortunately, we were both laughing the whole way through it.

Great interview, very genuine and gave further insight into how RJ has approached Rivian as it's grown. I'll save the gushing over RJ, but I'm a fan, and his passion for the brand and it's offerings, had a fairly substantial impact on my decision follow through with the R1 purchase.

It is really impressive how quickly Rivian added his movies while driving request. RJ said "no" but I just tested and it is now working.

It doesn't seem safe though.

I can see it. Apparently back in the 2010s, the idea was to release a sports car but as the market changed and Americans kept buying bigger cars, they shifted to the bigger truck and SUV that we have today. RJ is a car guy as he himself admits, so it wouldnt surprise me if we see something like this in a future R platform based on the original concept car.

1. Put the car in Park
2. Launch YouTube app
3. Put the car in to drive.
4. Start driving
5. YouTube keeps working

You can't launch the app while you're driving, but the app will continue working while you drive if you launch the app before you put the car into gear.

I am really surprised that this might be a random glitch and not a fleet wide bug. Perhaps it is a Compass Yellow exclusive feature.

This has got to be the strangest interview with RJ out there, and it was hilarious.

I loved the rant session and dunking on the wireless charging pad right in front of him. Was real close to getting a response about what happened with the launch edition price hike too, but fortunately gave RJ a window out.

Hope they actually went surfing afterwards.
