Totally confused by Connect+ rollout

What I don’t understand is that I’ve had my car for 1.5 years. I could ALWAYS connect my Spotify account to the suv and play it through my infotainment system. Way before connect us was even a thing-but now they’ve taken that away?? After 1.5 years?

Yes agree!! I’ve had my suv for 1.5 years and was connecting my Spotify with no problems, and now they’re taking that away. What doesn’t make sense is this was a function that worked way before connect plus was even introduced. I can’t stand it

They did not take any of your apps away. They stopped giving free internet access. Use your phone for internet by tethering, and the Spotify app will work like it always has.
