My 2 year lease for a stealth wrapped, fully optioned QM R1T is less than half the price of a 25 Tri 2 year lease.

I’m really curious to see what happens to demand and pricing once the vouchers expire.

I had the opportunity to pick up a low mileage used 24 Quad for about $78k last month. And a brand new 24 Quad (lease) I saw a week or two ago in inventory.

I couldn’t bring myself to pull the trigger thinking I’d regret not having the faster processor and upgraded suspension.

We tend to keep cars 10+ years so that was my thought process.

In all seriousness, it's neat to see the Tri Motor card being played as we approach the end of Q3.

Like what others have said, Q3 is all about vouchers, while Q4 will be the real deal.

Yeah now is not the time to get a deal on a TM, it's the new shiny thing. High price, no discounts, high lease rates.. etc. Give it time.

I wonder how much impact these have on Q3, maybe some people who had placed pre-orders or want to pick up Illinois.

I had a pre-price hike voucher and REALLY wanted a storm blue tri-motor R1S. I figured they would wait until the vouchers expired before listing these so I ended up getting an El Cap DM last month. I'm very happy with it but a little bummed seeing these in the shop now...

I was just looking at some of these offerings in the R1 Shop. I had not been keeping track of recent Rivian prices. I did not realize that they had gotten that high. I sure am glad that I got Opal when I did. She now looks like a super bargain.

I noted that the camp speaker is now an option at $450. I stored Opal's after using it just once. There are better portable speakers for under $100 at one quarter the size.

I also noticed that there is a "Darkout Package" that is included. What the heck is that?

I noticed a white with ocean coast tri posted to the shop last night for 7 minutes. By the time I clicked through to try to buy it, it was gone.

Rivian updated the terms of the voucher to explicitly exclude the tri-motor. No need to be bummed, except for us Canadians which still don't have any gen 2 dual motors available.

those prices are crazy!

Gen1 R1 pre-price hike is looking like the deal of the century. big caveat being that the processing tech and cameras are already trash but damn, we got quad motors, a large battery, all the off-road gear and accessories for next to nothing. oh and its over-engineered and premium details that Gen2 has removed/replaced - which is good for Rivian's bottom line and not a criticism.

My wife is actually great and will support whatever decision I make.

it just seems waiting for a shop car allows you to maximize savings and incentives and likely leads to a sooner delivery.

So many folks in the custom order thread seem to be waiting quite a while even if exact or similar shop cars come available. Seems silly.
