I was planning on leaving it in the truck all the time so the size is something I wanted to consider. Here are the sizes for reference of the Suner Power solar cells.

30W - 18.9"L x 15.3"W x 0.15"H = 289 sq in
20W - 15.9"L x 13.1"W x 0.12"H = 208 sq in

So basically, the 30W is almost 6" wider if you flip the orientation. Its width is about the same as the 20W's length, and then comparing the other dimension it is 5.8" longer.

If I can get by with a smaller one, it would be easier to stow it in the truck. I am going to mock up a piece of cardboard and see if the 30W is at all unwieldy.
I wonder how well (or bad) would it work when attached to the top-tinted roof 🤔

I thought about that too route too if going with the bigger one. It would help to know how long the leads are but I assume they are SAE and can easily get an extension. I have some good suction cup mounts that would work.

I ordered the 30W version, and I'm going to mount it under the glass roof and leave it there pretty much permanently. I am ordering this Starlink mini suction cup mount, which should work. A Starlink is a bit thicker, but that shouldn't be an issue in this case. I can shim it with adhesive foam pads.

I know it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but Lensun makes a 115W, hood-mounted solar panel for the Rivian. I have this primarily charging a separate 12V battery (for accessories), but it also acts as a trickle charger to the Rivian's 12V system when the secondary 12V system is at capacity.
