Trim Detach Issue

I was driving down the highway and noticed this from my side mirror. Luckily it didn't blow off. Anyone else have anything like this happen? Not sure if the heat made the glue fail or if it wasn't properly attached. UGH! Mobile appointment in two weeks. Had to tape it on till then. Hope it holds...

Some early VINs have had similar issues. Mobile will take care of it.

When it got hot in GA, my Dec23 R1t trip came unglued on the passenger side rear window. I cut it off to avoid scratching up the front door and made a service appointment. They took care of it with no issues since.

I have an appointment Monday to have my trim piece replaced on the driver side of my R1S. I had some adhesive tape I used for sound reduction to hold in place. It should be a simple repair.

Just had one of those pieces come loose too (16 months in). Service took care of it quickly and looks better than new now Was a pretty quick fix, though not via mobile for me - had to go in to the SC.

I did the online service appointment for it but that worked only for the service center which is 3 hours away. So I called the Rivian number and they set up mobile service and said it could have been as soon as next week but I will be out of town. So I have a mobile appointment a week from Tuesday.

When i had mine fixed mobile service advised caution when using power washer / car wash on those pieces. You can use it but avoid extended force along those pieces. Yes - shouldnt be that way.....

Our 2023 R1S and R1T have each had one -- each of which started at the lower front corner of a rear window. Portland SC fixed the R1S. I need to submit a ticket for the R1T. Much more stable than the OP's situation....

Just had this service for both rear window trims but it was at the front. Mobile took care of it with no issue.

One of the loaners we had was coming unglued. Haven't had the issue on either of ours yet though.
