Trunk Accidentally Opens

I am not sure of the damage if any but my trunk accidentally opened from my phone. I assume I did not lock the screen and the button activated on accident.
My other thought is this could have been worse, parked outdoors in the rain, in a public place, or something low-hanging and a smashed glass.
Sadly it appears the widget was fun while it lasted but now it will be deleted

Deleted mine right after I installed it and saw the same thing in my future

I keep the widget off my home screen for this reason. It, and a couple other widgets have their own screen a couple of swipes away. Still immediately available with two swipes. Less likely that I’ll inadvertently open something with sleepy fingers during middle of the night emergency calls (surgeon, this is a constant in my life) or random places my phone goes during the day.

I use Siri to start climate and open things. I actually had no idea there was a widget. And the action button on my watch starts climate. I just wish I could also enable cooled seats.

Crisis averted, but the Home Screen widget is deleted however I will keep using the Lock Screen widget

I thought I would like this, but I really don't. Too great a possibility I'll accidentally hit a button as I put my phone in my pocket and remotely open something on my truck.

I'll stick with opening the app when I need it.

Does a 2010 Wrangler have a powered trunk, or have you just not updated your profile vehicle? I'm guessing you have a R1S?
