Turn signal noise

Random question - anyone know if it’s possible to turn off the turn signal noise (I’m in a Gen 2 R1S)?

I assume not but wanted to ask. My daughter is autistic and for some reason that mild/quiet sound that plays with the turn indicator on causes her significant anxiety.

Unfortunately you can’t change that. Maybe it won’t bother her as much if she can connect to the story behind it? (Wishful thinking)

I find that noise unsettling as well. I do not know of a way to turn it off or change it to something else. It might be worth contacting Rivian about, as it is a digital sound, and since the issue is related to your daughter's autism, they might be able to change it to something else.

No pathway to change it with current software. Use your mobile app to submit feedback and request consideration. Or, post on reddit to r/rivian and tag head of software u/WassymRivian. He is watchful and respond sometimes. In the meantime would a white noise track, like from Spotify, help mask the sound?

My wife finds the sound annoying too. I sent her the video in the hopes that she’ll think it’s cool now, but I doubt it.

Story is great, but it's loud AF, and I am profoundly hearing impaired (official VA diagnosis, not just my words). A volume setting would be very helpful.
