I wouldn't call it "magic" so much as "sorcery"Rivian is trying to do magic stuff

I've already misplaced stuff by putting it in the middle gloveboxThis is why the R2 has a second glovebox. It's where I keep my semaphore flags so I don't have to use signal stalk.
You're driving yourself crazy by refusing to adapt to a different car with a different but not unique way of doing things. Which is more productive? adapt or keep complaining?I love my R1T but I hate the turn signal. It's either too sensitive and stays on when I'm just changing lanes or it shuts off when I'm making a turn. I've never noticed a turn signal on any car I've ever owned and this turn signal is driving me crazy!
I believe the auto-shut off for the full-pull of the turn signal is only when you are on a highway. And it can be turned on or off in the vehicle's settings. The turn signal is irritating one or two times out of 5. That's not a great rate for a device which, as OP stated, has never been a issue for me in decades of driving.
I don't know when the full-pull started auto shutting off, but it is inconsistent and leads to opposite signaling and re-signaling too often.
I expect @UnsungZero_OldTimeAdMan to tell me I should keep adapting, but there comes a point where it should just be intuitive... As it has always been.
Anyways, 1st world problems.
It only seems to do it on *SOME* highways, for some reason, and I cannot figure out what determines whether the current highway is cool enough for this feature or not, unless maybe there's just something wrong with my particular R1S...I believe the auto-shut off for the full-pull of the turn signal is only when you are on a highway. And it can be turned on or off in the vehicle's settings.
