Twraps is awesome! PPF installed DIY photos

I Just installed Twraps PPF on almost all the front end, tailgate, and door sills. Was so impressed that I also ordered the full hood kit and tail-light. Also ceramic coated with adams advanced ceramic/graphene spray. Was quoted $1900 to do the parts that I spent $300 on for the Twraps kit.

Very nicely done! @twraps is awesome! Applying PPF is not for everyone, but they make it as easy as humanly possible.

Looks like you lined up all those sections perfectly. I would get it on there, then be unhappy with the way I did it, then try to go about my daily life reminding myself that no one else can see that one little corner is a little too far away from the edge, all while I stop sleeping because I know that section is looking at me every time I go in the garage and could have been done better.

It's things like this that make me so grateful that I am ADHD instead of OCD. It may bother me at first but after about 30 seconds my mind flits onto something else.

It drives my wife crazy. Typical conversation: Her "Do you hear that squeak?" me "yeah, I do" Her "Don't you find it annoying?" me "yeah, it is pretty annoying" Her "what do you think is causing it?" Me "what's causing what?"

Looks great! I love the Adam's stuff, I have the Graphene spray you used on my Explorer but will be using the more advanced graphene ceramic on my Rivian.

I have been considering the TWRAPS stuff for the tailgate for bike pads and perhaps the front/door sills.

Do you back into your garage?
Otherwise that would drive me nuts lol

Sometimes, that’s the side that out outside breaker are located. Not charging everyday so it’s not too bad.

We messed up on the charge door piece early on and I ended up pulling it off. Contacted Twraps to buy a replacement and they are graciously sending me two free replacement charge door pieces. Great customer service so don’t be too worried about messing up. You can pull it back up while it’s wet and reposition it fairly easily as well.

That's good to know. I've heard only good things about their customer service and even the ease of application. I ordered my truck with front PPF because I need to be able to sleep at night, but I plan on adding the Twraps sill covers and a few other pieces as well. I think I can handle that

Sills are super easy. Get the 10mm option for those.

Lol, I’ll direct, you do the work haha. It’s easy just use mothers CMX or similar wax/oil stripper first and check out the YouTube vids. Start with a straight easy piece and you’ll get the hang of it quick.
