Current Prius looks better than that!Seriously, it looks like a Prius.
I am interested getting the R1S, but honestly after so many years,Ugly competition: The Cybertruck has a competitor
Yuck.I only wished that the R1S Gen2 would had received a front lightbar matching the rear lightbar.
If so, I would jump to order a new R1S, but so far I still don't like the oval R1S front lights:

Then this forum seems like an odd place to hang out. I think you should go be with the cyber bros if you like that styling better.I am interested getting the R1S, but honestly after so many years,
I could not put my head around the Rivian oval headlight design.
Look for a minute how a Rivian Sedan might look like, would you buy it?

By opposition, look how this Youtuber Cyber Hooligan build this 'CyberRoadster',
by incorporating a Cybertruck hood and lightbar to a wrecked Model 3:

I don't get why you'd come on a Rivian forum to say you won't buy a Rivian because of X. Cool, man, then go to the forum that sells the car you WOULD buy. Most of these people are full of shit anyways; they don't have any vehicles in a comparable price range. Why are there so many people trying to turn Rivian into Tesla? And why did it become acceptable to just add “cyber” to everything in the process?
I don’t get it either. I’ve never once said I wish a vehicle made by this company looked more like a vehicle made by another company. ?I don't get why you'd come on a Rivian forum to say you won't buy a Rivian because of X. I'll never buy another sedan. I also won't choose a car based on looks.would you buy it?
Because they still want a Tesla (due to familiarity) but deep down feel embarrassed because of Elmo. So they wish for a Tesla 2.0. They also don’t realize one of the biggest and obvious mistakes in business management: lack of brand identity/differentiation.Why are there so many people trying to turn Rivian into Tesla? Agree 100%. We already live in a world where nearly all crossover sized vehicles look nearly identical. They could move to China where many good EVs look like Tesla derivatives.Agree 100%. We already live in a world where nearly all crossover sized vehicles look nearly identical. Boring.
I don't see anyone trying to turn Rivian into Tesla. It would be nice however to have a truck with all of the abilities and software maturity of a Tesla, that isn't a Cybertruck or old-think junk like the F150. There's a vast market open there that nobody is taking. I don't think Rivian can, at least not for a very long time. And Tesla is now stuck with a steel albatross that keeps them from doing it. The legacy makers are stuck with having to fulfill contracts to sell as many buttons and old-think designs as possible. So the passable, but very incomplete alternative for now is the R1T.Why are there so many people trying to turn Rivian into Tesla?
And now it seems Tesla is copying the updated copy of a MYThey could move to China where many good EVs look like Tesla derivatives.

I see your point on that - it's a fine line to walk if you are Rivian. Being your own brand and identity both from a design and technology perspective, but also knowing what to borrow or follow from others like Tesla.I don't see anyone trying to turn Rivian into Tesla.
