Nice work (and thanks for the shoutout)!

I can't wait to get my Xtrusion Overland roof rack (once it's released). I'll be doing a similar wiring job down the windshield to run roof lights to the PowerSwitch.

I wish I had taken out the tub when doing the PowerSwitch install in the frunk. Would have made life easier. I've had it out for other stuff, it's not hard, just a handful of screws.

Trick to getting thicker wires through the grommet.... lube. Silicone spray works well but it's slow going to get it to slide through for sure.

I drilled a hole for my wiring in that small bed corner plastic piece. I have my light wires going through a grommet there. I've already purchased a new piece if and when I need to go back to stock. Wasn't too pricey, less than $100.

Oooh did you get the piece from Rivian? I might just drill then knowing that.

We tried the dishwasher soap but it was just too thick to make it through the small hole. That 7 wire was beeeeeeefy!

Yeah that grommet isn't super forgiving.

Yes, I picked up the part from the Service Center. Be careful when drilling. It is tight tolerances to find the gap between the bedside and the tonneau cover. Wiring also needs to be carefully run not to interfere with operation of the cover.

The passenger side piece is:

BED TRIM CORNER RH
Part # PT00032837-D
$89.95

Nice build! In your video you mention connecting the light bar to the 12v battery, was wondering if you connected to the primary 12v battery or the secondary, and which post you connected it to (if it matters).

Thanks!

So I only have one battery. I thought I had two but the second one is a false battery for my newer model. It shouldnā€™t matter though ā—”Ģˆ

I believe they replaced the second 12V battery with a capacitor.

Doing the damn thing
tough to say because we ended up adding some additional stuff such as awnings shortly after but honestly maybe .2 miles per kilowatt?
Now thatā€™s youā€™re fully rigged up, what are you averaging per kilowatt?
