OK, maybe that's the gap on my end then; since the update there hasn't been a time where the AC turns on and full tilt isn't required . It should absolutely be taking into account the need to cool the cabin down significantly or just moderately.

I’ll be back in SC in a couple weeks and expect the AC will be working overtime.

Updated to the newest version and the compressor was noticeably quieter upon start up than before, but wasn’t overly hot this AM. Will continue to watch!

Roll out has apparently started. Woke up to the notification this morning that I had the update. What’s interesting, update timing has changed from the 80 minutes previously shown down to 65.

Only if your vehicle is connected to wifi and your router tracks download/upload data by device. I can see the activity for the vehicle in my Eero app. And can see that it is phoning home multiple times a day.

I have a habit of immediately naming my devices the moment I connect them to my network. I have nearly 100 devices so it's important. The vehicle shows up with a manufacturer u-box AG with the OUI (first 3 hex digits of the MAC address) is 54:64: DE... once you find it, name it as the vehicle and you can even assign the type as "Car" and the device icon will change to Car. I did this for my Model S (now gone) and Lucid Air.

I will tell you from personal experience that it took much longer than 65 or even 80 minutes. For me it took about 2 hours to complete and it was stuck on 78% for a very long time, to the point where I thought some error must have happened.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I have detached parking and out of range of my Eero network. Might have to use my phone's 5G as hotspot... or the onboard LTE (slow).
