Has anyone has a Tesla Gen 3 wall charger just not work, no matter how long you wait? I just received delivery of my R1S and get same behavior with it not working, but no amount of waiting with it plugged in resolves the issue. I'm about to pull the trigger on swapping the Tesla charger for a Rivian one, but then fear running into problems charging the Tesla (as I've seen in other posts). Next thing I will try before that though is ordering another adapter to see if maybe the adapter is at fault. What a pain.
Can you find another Tesla destination charger to try? Or someone else with a Tesla charger, so you can test your adapter?

Have you tried resetting the charger? Gen 2 has a red button you can hold for a reset of the EVSE...

Thanks for the tips, @Phatman113 . I will try the destination charger idea. I did just return home from an EV GO fast charger. After two failed chargers, the third one worked. All three were CCS. So, at least I know that the car itself will charge if plugged into a working charger. I did reset theTesla Gen 3 home charger by shutting down at the breaker panel. I have yet to troubleshoot and check the firmware on it - as soon as I recover the password for the Tesla charger.

Maybe your Tesla charger is configured to charge only Teslas?

This^^^

In the web interface for the charger you can select 'All Vehicles', 'Only Tesla' or 'Authorized Teslas Only', and I believe it's Tesla by default.

I have the Gen 3 Tesla Wall Connector (60A circuit) and charge the R1T via the Lectron adapter without issue. Throughput is generally in the 11kW range (22-24mi/hr). My electrician, while competent, had no/limited experience with the Wall Connector and thus did zero configuration other than hooking it up.
