Variable charging speeds - Where's the issue?

Context: '23 R1T - Charging at home on a 14-50 receptacle with a 50a breaker using the Rivian Mobile EVSE.

This setup worked without issue for 8+ months charging at a rate of 7.5kw.

Recently, the charging speed fluctuates during the charge session. (screenshot attached, down to 4kw)

Resetting the EVSE and vehicle don't fix the issue.

What's the likely issue? (EVSE? Receptacle? Onboard AC Charger?)

I'm using almost the exact same setup except I'm using the Rivian Portable Charger instead of the EVSE. Mine will only throttle when the battery is below 40deg F or so, and only for the first 30min or so until it gets some heat in the battery. Beyond that it's been pretty solid since December when I put it in.

Mine fluctuates while I am in the truck. When I get out and it locks it evens out to a steady charge. Same setup.

Also, is the connector in direct sunlight?

The truck will throttle EVSE charging if the connector gets too warm.

If it's while you're in the truck maybe it's not counting current that's going towards HVAC and stuff as charging?

I concur with above. OP, please provide your external conditions.

Also, a portable/"travel charger" should not be used as the primary/frequent charging method.

FWIW...

First few times using Rivian charger on a 110 outlet, any LED bulb on dimmers would flicker while the R1S was charging. At the service panel, tighten all breaker connections. Also tighten ground and common. No more flicker.
A month after installing my ChargePoint set up similar to yours, found I needed to tighten screws on the 50 Amp breaker again.
