Very Slow App Response since last updste

Has anyone re use experienced very slow response to app commands - door unlock, open rear or frunk doors, etc? If so what did you do that fixed it?

OMG it is SOOOOOO SLOW. Can't remember if it was the iOS or the Rivian software update.

Good point there was an iPhone update recently too. I’ll try rebooting my phone…

I have proximity unlock disabled at my house. So it is very painful using the app, standing there waiting for the truck to unlock/lock.

Been pretty dang good for me - plus, there was a recent update (I believe 2026.7?) that mentioned an improvement for these.

That being said, if you are outside of Bluetooth range the command still has to go thru the internet then to your vehicle, and there are plenty of factors that can impact performance there.

its been really slow for me, truck will not wake up. The other odd thing is the tonneau cover is unlocked and can be opened/closed without unlocking the truck. Tail gate also opens. I was going to do a hard reset to see if that fixes things.

The app has been atrocious for me as well. The camera function is essentially non -functional for me. Will have 5g and it acts like it’s without internet. Other functions are not doing well either. Truck will not wake up.

Adding to my complaint, the camp speaker automatically turning on and connecting to my phone with a subsequent blast of music is jarring every time.

Rivian, please fix. And also give us a radar map.

yes, just posted the same in another thread. Something has happened in the last few updates where it's gotten progressively worse. I have proximity off at home and the iOS app just sits there and times out. If I force quit the app and re-attempt, the car unlocks instantly.

After update my infotainment went crazy. Screen frozen. Lots of other issues. Restart by pressing those 2 outer buttons. Problem solved. Then while driving, autonomy+ fault. No more autonomy driving. Hard reset this time, problem solved. So far no more issues. Touch wood.

I had several crashes of infotainment screen while cast in Disney plus for the kids. Very slow experience despite keeping Alexa active to have Amazon Music working.
driver + does not work on highways where it used to work too.

2026.15 is a disappointing update

SO slow! I updated last night and now it takes forever to open and close, and I’m standing right next to the truck. Please fix!

It has been very annoying!!! Not only is it very slow to respond, but now every morning it wants to reverify it is me. I can understand every once in a while, but every day? And since it won't do it from in the house any more (on WiFi) I am now forced to stand there with the phone in front of the door until RF reader notices it.
Plus my can has started forgetting to kneel, or make room (seats slide back, steering while shrinks, mirrors dold). Lots of glitches with latest update.
