I've had the trick now for a week and been getting familiar with all the different bits and pieces. I've made several videos on some of the stuff people had asked about and the things I was most curious about before getting the car. I'm adding all those videos to this play list:

But it occurred to me that I could do a video this weekend and try and address any questions people have in one video.
So if you have any specific questions that don't require me to take the truck apart just post them here and I'll try to get to most of them. Upvote each others questions when possible instead of reposting the same one ...

I have the wall charger installed too so I could answer questions about that if there are any left.

I really loved your tonneau cover video. Seeing the pieces stack showed me something I don't think most of us realize: the interior space for the tonneau when collapsed just isn't that big. It packs down into a very shallow space, this clearly isn't something eating up a ton of usable room. In fact, the space being used might prove to be mostly unusable for much else (maybe a small storage locker).

Thanks for sharing these videos. Very insightful. The tonneau was helpful. I do recall someone some Rivian stating that you are able to stand on it but don't quote me on that. lol. My current tri-fold tonneau is able to withstand 250lbs but like you stated, this one may not be as sturdy.

Someone mentioned, on your youtube comments, doing a water test to see if the water enters in the bed from the sides of the cover. That'd be interesting to see.

Yep, I intend to do a water test in on the tonneau and one on the drunk. While I'm at it I'll blast the doors and windows with a pressure washer to make sure it keeps water out like it should. My thought is to just use the shower setting on my garden hose first, then the jet setting, and then bring out the pressure washer to see where we get. Any other ideas?

Thanks for doing this. I think that will tell us a lot. Can’t think of anything else for the tonneau. I’ll think of some other tests for other things as I think on them. Lol.

In the name of science I'll see if I can stand on my tonneau cover in the next video. I'll start with my son first cause he weighs about half of what I do

On the back wall of the bed, are those circles "caps"? That back panel looks like it may be removable? I wonder if those caps cover bolts that allow the panel to be removed and that's how the tonneau compartment can be accessed/serviced?

250lbs of point loading(I.e. someone standing on it) or 250lb evenly distributed(snow, etc)? ?

Hey trez63, I’ve been trying to get a sense of the trucks size in reality compared to the specs Rivian shares. Their specs mention 217.1” length—how does that compare to yours from the tow hooks to the tail?

Appreciate you answering our questions!

I’m not more than 180lbs and I’ve been on it multiple times tying stuff on the roof rack. I’ve carried weight bearing items on top it (not too heavy but done it). After hockey and a bunch of us sit on the tonneau for some bevies. So it’s held up great. I don’t know the exact specs but mines a the oem Honda tonneau. Not sure it’s advisable but never had issues.
